🔦 AI Hot 100 Founder Spotlight: Surojit Chatterjee, Founder and CEO of Ema Unlimited

This week we’re spotlighting Surojit Chatterjee (raised $61M, current Founder & CEO of Ema Unlimited, and former CPO of Coinbase). Ema Unlimited is one of the Hot 100 startups selected by The AI Furnace to attend The AI Hot 100 Summit.

Surojit Chatterjee is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ema Unlimited (raised $61M), a groundbreaking AI company revolutionizing workplace productivity with its universal AI assistant.

Previously, he guided Coinbase through a successful 2021 IPO as its Chief Product Officer and scaled Google Mobile Ads and Google Shopping into multi billion dollar businesses as the VP and Head of Product. Surojit holds 40 US patents and has an MBA from MIT, MS in Computer Science from SUNY at Buffalo, and B. Tech from IIT Kharagpur.

So why did the former CPO of Coinbase decide to leave and build in the AI space?

In our AI Hot 100 Blog interview, Surojit says that after working the last two decades at iconic companies like Google, Coinbase, Oracle and Flipkart, he wondered “Why do we hire the smartest people and give them jobs that are so mundane?.” That question is what led him to build Ema.

The goal for Ema is clear and bold: “transform enterprises by building a universal AI employee.” This vision stems from their belief that AI can augment human capabilities rather than replace workers entirely.
